Amanda Has Lied to Many
I just went to Amanda Riechelt's website and she has updated the website to indicate that a new litter is available. Although this may be the case, it also may not be. From her past dealings with many across the USA, one should be very wary about sending her money. The AKC has been in touch with me and they now have a permanent file on her. She has lied to many and taken thousands of dollars with no intention of sending a pup. Do not deal with this woman. There are so many wonderful breeders who have amazing pups- there is no need to deal with Amanda Reichelt. Be patient and find a good breeder - one you can TRUST!

ReplyDeleteHi Tracie,
ReplyDeleteWhile I am happy to hear that you area pleased with your pup, and I am certain that you are not the only individual who has had good dealings with Amanda, I have to comment on your choice of words. Your comment of "false information" is almost humorous. The fact is after 10 months of frustration, stress and much fighting, I just yesterday received a pup from Amanda's mother. She has been working, in some capacity with Amanda, to right previous contracts that were not fulfilled. The pup was happy and healthy. That is a fact. It is also a fact that in just this past 3 weeks 4 other individuals have been in touch with me as they have been defrauded of money in some capacity. Amanda is still defrauding individuals of money. Would you like their names? I have MANY. I am certain they would love to tell you their story - the facts, on how their families have been let down or how much money they have lost.
Tracie, please choose your words more carefully next time. I am speaking on behalf many people here. Have fun with your pup. I am sure Maya will become a wonderful dog and I wish you the best.
Jodi Carlow
PS: I gave the pup that arrived to a friend of mine who knows Amstaffs well and will give her a wonderful home. Our family obtained a beautiful AmStaff puppy from a GREAT breeder in California months ago...
Congrats on your new addition as well. :)

ReplyDeleteI have deleted my original comment but would like to privately talk to you Jodi and Melissa if that's okay. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteThis is so shocking I do not even know where to start. I know for a fact Jodi that you have got your puppy from Amanda because I asked for a copy of the flight with air canada showing that you had been shipped a puppy. I do not know why you have left all this garbage up about you being ripped off by Amanda when you have in fact got a puppy from her and you even said you had got the puppy in a comment deep within this blog. I do not think it is right for you to leave up your comments on this blog that you have had money stolen from you by Amanda and never got a dog! You are trying to make it look like you still to this day have not got a dog from her and have been ripped off. I have read her contract all the way through top to bottom and she has done exactly what the contract said (that you would get a pup to replace the one that passed away from the litter that was born last year). You do know that dogs only go into heat 2 times a year so of course it took a long time to get a replacement puppy out of the same mother dog. I want to say that I have purchased 2 dogs from Amanda at Mt Brier, one back in 2005 and another pup this year in 2012. I live in Washington state and have family in Moses Lake and Spokane and have personally gone to Amanda's kennel to meet her and her dogs which are all very well behaved with very good temperaments and in really good health. All of her puppies that she had there when I met her were really happy and friendly. Amanda showed me her adult dogs one by one and each and every dog was very friendly to me and my 2 kids and they were all very obedient and she even showed me her dogs doing agility on the course she has set up in her pasture and also showed me their ability to do obedience commands. She let me see her kennel set up which is really nice as it is a huge barn with indoor and outdoor kennel runs that are large and the barn is even heated and cooled. She is a very good breeder and was really honest with me about her dogs and showed me paperwork from the OFA and Pennhip proving they all had been health tested with good results for their hips and elbows and their hearts and ataxia. I was also show temperament tests from the ATTS for her dogs and also reviewed the volhard temperament tests for each puppy that was there. I had paid for both of my dogs through moneygram like you did and she never ripped me off for either of my dogs. I was able to pick up both of my dogs in person from her and had paid her well in advance for both of them and never had a problem. I signed her contract and she did everything that the contract guaranteed. If anyone would like to contact me about my past and recent experience with Amanda please email me at sierrastarsliesta@hotmail.com Both of my dogs from her are awesome and have the best temperaments you could ever ask for. They both are great with my two young children and love any stranger that they meet.
ReplyDeleteSierra,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comments although, I am extremely amused...if you had the time to phone Air Canada to double check that a pup was flown to me, how did you not take the time to properly read my blog before attacking me? I quote my above comment " I just yesterday received a pup from Amanda's mother. She has been working, in some capacity with Amanda, to right previous contracts that were not fulfilled. The pup was happy and healthy. That is a fact."
So yes, I did receive a puppy and am not as you say trying to make it look like I have never received a dog. Sierra, you stated this above: " You are trying to make it look like you still to this day have not got a dog from her and have been ripped off." Please choose your words more carefully and get the facts before you attack!
I will reiterate as you don't seem to want to read...I was previously sent FRAUDULENT photos of a pup that I purchased that NEVER EXISTED for sale. This is past history. I am very pleased that you have had wonderful interactions with Amanda. It is all I have hoped for everyone...unfortunately, I still hear from MANY who have had other dealings and interactions. As for leaving " all this garbage up about getting ripped off by Amanda", it may seem garbage to you, but that was 10 months of my life and my children's as well as $1365 that was left in limbo. This of course is not to mention the hours of my time that I have wasted fighting to get the pup that I did.
If you ever choose to look further you will see that I have only ever spoken for myself. Others have told their own stories, but thank you for your comments.
If you would like to be in touch further, feel free to email at jodicarlow@shaw.ca and enjoy your pup.
Jodi I have spoke to both Amanda and her mother. The puppy you got was a show dog and worth more than 1365 so I know for a fact you got a dog worth much more than what you had paid for. Fraudulent photos is a silly thing to say when I spoke to her mother and she had forwarded photos to Amanda and had sent the wrong set of photos. I know for a fact there was a litter from Stormy last year when you were trying to get a puppy from that litter because I was going to buy one of those pups and went to see them myself through Amanda's mother who had the mother dog Stormy because she was not in town at the time. I talked in length with Amanda's mother about the litter and wanted to get one of those pups but Amanda had an issue with the litter when it got parvo since they were only vaccinated with the typical distemper/hepatitis/lepto/parvo/parainfluenza vaccine that vets normally give to pups and she told me she would rather not sell me one of those pups when I was looking at them at 6 weeks old. The whole litter was blue pups and that is the color I was after. I spoke to the vet in Colville who told me that the area that they lived in was very bad about having parvo and that would be why the dog I got in 2012 was vaccinated with not only the dhlpp vaccines that vets give to pups as part of their puppy shots, but also a high titer vaccine specifically for parvo called neopar that most vets do not even have and it was ordered from http://www.revivalanimal.com/Neopar.html (I also ordered 2 more neopar vaccines for my pup to have at 9 and 11 weeks old). The vet there told me that the neopar vaccine done at 5, 7, 9 and 11 weeks old along with the normal dhlpp done at 6, 8, 10 and 12 weeks would almost guarantee the pup could not contract parvo even coming from stevens county that is terrible about having parvo in the ground and carried by wild animals there. I asked Amanda about what happened with you since I saw your blog months ago and she said from the very start when the pups in Stormy's litter back in 2011 got parvo that she told you that she would replace the pup with a pup from the same mother (Stormy) from her next litter. I believe you had to wait 10 months to get the replacement pup from the same mother dog but why would you complain when you were offered to get the replacement dog from the same exact mother dog and you even got a puppy that I saw was priced at 1500 as her purchase price because she was a show dog and not a pet quality pup. I talked to Amanda's mother and she said all the pups in the litter were of show qualities and she said that Amanda said to go ahead and offer you first pick female from the litter even though it was a show pup and was worth far more than what you had even paid which you said was 1375 and the pup was worth 1500. I am saying I do not see why on the front page of your blog you continue to leave up that you were ripped off and your contract was not honored and then way far deep in your blog you have a little comment that you had indeed got the pup and was happy with it but you never put that on the front of your blog and did not bother to take down all the blogs you left about being ripped off when in fact you state that your contract was honored and the dog is in your hand. You sound down right ridiculous that you were left in limbo for 10 whole whopping months waiting for a pup from the same mother dog. I put a deposit of 300 down back in 2004 and the breeding I was wanting a pup from did not take so that same breeding had to be done all over again and the litter was born in 2005 and I got my pup just like the contract said I would. I had to wait a year but I read and understood the contract I signed and agreed to and I did not lose my mind saying I got ripped off by her because the breeding did not take, I patiently waited for the breeding to be done again and did get my pup and I tell you what my pup was well worth the wait and then some.
DeleteI could not be happier with my staff from Amanda and the pup I got this year in 2012 was also worth my time waiting for the litter to be born as I put a deposit of 300 down again in early 2012 (January) and got my pup this past summer. I see the other person on your blog named Melissa Hood complaining that she was ripped off for thousands of dollars when in all actuality that person did not pay anywhere near in full for their pup and backed out on their own accord and lost their deposit. What part of non refundable deposit do people not get? I know if I had put money towards holding a pup and then randomly backed out of wanting one that I would lose my deposit. It doesn't take rocket science to realize this fact. I know for a fact the other women who was getting a pup from that same litter in 2011 (Jennifer) is getting a black pup from a litter by the same sire as your pup and I have seen that pup myself in person when I went to get my most recent pup and she is a very nice dog and by no means is she pet quality but I know Amanda is sending that dog to this lady anyway and I know that woman is also happy with the dog she is getting because I spoke to Amanda's mother about it and have seen the emails from the lady. I see Tracie Barker has got her blue brindle female from Amanda recently and is also very happy with her dog as well and I have spoke to another person in BC that got a dark colored blue fawn sister to your pup Jodi, and she is really happy with her dog too. Neither person was ripped off and both of them will readily tell you their experience was just as good as my 2 with Amanda.

DeleteI don't recall ever saying I lost thousands to Amanda because I never did. But any lose, at all, is unacceptable. You had your experience, which was positive. But some of us haven't. Why are you so hell bent on defending her anyways? I chose to back out and not get a dog from her because I would be a fool to hand over more money to a person that has a history of not deliverying dogs. Amanda hides behinds contracts that have no merit in the state of Washington anyways. I'm sorry but a scam artist never comes out and admits it, they lie lie lie bc thats how they get by in life. One litter is understandable, but every breeding? Really???? You need to step back, as a resonable adult and ask, what is going on here? She has brought this on herself. It concerns her & us. You coming in defending her is insane. You should really read what I wrote, not just talk to Amanda then talk shit about any of us.
DeleteMelissa Hood
Amanda is a thief.. She tried to rip me off. I ordered a blue pup, ears cropped, tail docked and shrme said the tail was infected and the medicine she was using? The mother was licking it off so the tail would t heal.. I found out from a vet here in Winnipeg mb that the dog doesnt need meds as the mother keeps it clean on her own. So i found out she was scamming me as i had sent her around $4,400 by the time i found out she was scamming me.. Where it was only suppose to be around $2,800 including everything.. So what i did was i got her how she wanted to get me.. I asked her to bring her most expensive pup which was worth $6,500, got my cousin who lives in spokane to bring his police officer buddy with him. They met up with her and she was thinking that they would pay her $2,000 and take the pup.. But i had her arrested instead.. Took the pup and held it for me to drive out there and go get my puppy.. She was arrested with promise to appear in court.. My dog is great.. But she knew that the male had some type of disease but she still continued to breed him knowing this.. So my pup has a chance of dying.. She is a horrible breeder.. And im so sorry to hear that she hasnt stopped doing this seeing i thought i taught her a lesson.. Hopefully sumone smart can trap her like me and put her behind bars..
DeleteWOOWWW I'm currently in the middle of paying and waiting to receive a pup. Seeing that this took place in 2015 a few months back has me terribly worried to send the remaining balance!!!
DeleteThere are a couple things that just seem weird or kinda shady to me since I've been dealing with her since August 2015. And finding this just confirms my intuitions I've been having.
Sierra, what reputable breeder send several rounds of "the wrong sets of photos' when selling a pup? She couldn't even get the DOB right in my sale! I get from your very wordy story that you are trying to defend Amanda...that's a very commendable action. You and I will not see eye-to-eye on this so we can stop the back and forth. There are some that will have a happy experience with Amanda, and there will be some, seemingly with every litter, that will not. I obtained a pup from a woman in California who is an AKC Breeder of Merit and I bet she rarely has to fall back on the contract. You are right. It is not rocket science...so why are there still so many issues involving Amanda??!!
ReplyDeleteThis Blog will disappear when there is little action on it. That will be the tell-tale sign that Amanda is running a typical, usual, well-run breeding program. I cannot wait for that time and it seems nor can you.

ReplyDeleteJC how is it all going for you? Another woman has been in touch...I hope it all works out for her!
ReplyDeleteI glad Amanda you are stiking up for yourself behind fake identities again. You are not reputable in fact you are an embarassment to the breed. I remember Black Star and a AKC judge telling me to tell you to not bring stinky dogs to him. I am not hiding because I know you poor practices and lack of ethics.
ReplyDeleteI found this blog while doing my research for this breed. I have been to this Kennel, met Amanda & her mom Marcia and I have seen these dogs as well as I have read through her contract that clearly states Non-refundable deposit. What that means is if you change your mind you don't get your money/deposit back, because as a breeder we turn prospective clients away assuming that puppy is sold based on the contract. Also if you back out of a contract and the puppy is older there is a potential for loss of money from the dog due to age.
ReplyDeleteI breed dogs (a different breed, my husband was interested in this breed) and my contracts read very similar. I have briefly discussed this situation with Amanda due to the concern it raised for me. As a breeder myself I know the things that you are discussing do happen. I was satisfied with the information that was provided and the documentation that she showed me, as well as the explanation that the puppy you had purchased died due to Parvo and she offered you a replacement out of a future litter (that is the correct thing to do). I also read the contract that stated no cash refunds if the dog dies you get a replacement, this is clearly stated. You have stated repeatedly that her portion of the contract was met, so at this point it sounds more personal than on any professional level.
As a breeder the contracts are designed to protect both parties, you didn't have to sign it but you did, and basically what you are doing is defamation at this point which if she is losing business due to your posts and can substantiate it through even one failed purchase you can be held liable. If this type of defamation was happening regarding my dogs, breeding practices, or myself personally my next call would not be to this blog site but to a real good attorney. It sounds like she was actually looking out for your best interest in not selling you a dog that had Parvo which, I have also had previously with a litter of pups. I had a litter of eight puppies, four had been sold and were gone already, I had two of the remaining pups sold on contract and they were waiting to be picked up when they came down with this horrible virus. The two remaining we were keeping. I immediately contacted all buyers of my dogs that were gone and notified them and advised them to take them to the Vet and I would cover costs (none of them got sick, thank goodness), The two that were sold that did contract the virus I gave the option to wait until the next litter or take the two pups at a discounted cost. These pups did go to those homes and they were sold without a guarantee which was put in writing. The reason for my giving this option is due to the fact that the virus can cause long term problems. I am sorry that your dog contracted Parvo and died, it does happen and it is horrific when it happens in a setting such as a kennel. The amount of work to contain that virus is extremely extensive to assure it doesn't happen again. I understand you are frustrated but really posting these types of statements on a personal level on a public site is very dangerous for you and could be very costly in the end to you and your family.
It appears you have moved on and purchased another dog. But I do have a question since I have seen the contract and do know that it states you cannot re-home one of her dogs and they must be returned to her, based on your own admissions in this blog you have violated the terms of the contract and she technically could sue you for that as well. Just so you know I have done that before and its not hard to do. The judge quickly found in my favor and the dog was returned to me and no money was refunded, and the purchaser had to pay all the costs for the court action. So while you are doing this in a public forum and I have recently have met these folks and your remarks caused me great stress in this situation of trying to add a new member to my family, I wanted you to know that breeders do look at both sides and know the risks of a disgruntled customer, at this point I want you to know that although I do not know these people either I definitely believe they have alleviated any and all concerns that I had after reading your blog and I will be considering them for a new puppy when their next litter is born.
ReplyDeleteJust thought you might want a light read about the laws for defamation in Washington state:
http://www.citmedialaw.org/legal-guide/washington-defamation-law
Heather, I appreciate your input, but before we speak of litigation, let's understand a few details. Amanda may have changed her ways recently - and this would please me greatly - but in the fall of 2011 she went through the motions to defraud several individuals of money.
ReplyDeleteMarch 20, 2012 Amanda's mother Marcia Brown, approached this group, after reaching an agreement with Desmond in South Africa, and suggested a means to fulfill these contracts. This was her idea. So let's now speak of your accusations...I understand Parvo, unfortunately the photos of the pup I "purchased " were fraudulent. So there was NO PUP to fall ill. I have already covered this in this blog. I did not "back out" of the contract, there was resolution until Marcia Brown of FoxFire committed to fulfil these contracts. I have maintained clear documentation of every conversation and correspondence. Marcia was aware that this pup was to be gifted to my friend who had an elderly AmStaff ( who has since passed ) so as discussed in an email August 20, 2012, we wrote him his own contract for the replacement pup. There was no re-homing. You have also accused me of defamation. I am careful about my wording...and although I can read that you have tried to be careful about yours, your accusations are incorrect.
I would love to let this all go. I have a wonderful dog, my contract was fulfilled, as were some others who were in this group, Be in touch with Desmond. He is still out over $4000 and no pup. Be in touch with the others. Let me add that Marcia only fulfilled those who paid in full, in that time there were several who paid partial amounts with no resolution. Perhaps they would like to speak to you about litigation and my so-called defamation. I would think that they have something to say also. These are facts Heather. Anyone who reads thoroughly can see that I have spoken of past dealings and I have been honest about Marcia's fulfillment of my contract, under Mike's name. As I said I have maintained clear records of everything. If you have more questions or need more facts for your satisfaction please be in touch, but please, do not accuse, until you know all the facts.
This is when I state again, the less activity this blog gets, the sooner it will disappear. I will state here also that when three things occur:
ReplyDelete1) Desmond has a satisfactory resolution
2) People are not promised papers for pups with no intention of sending them ( strange, people keep asking me about this detail- and I have yet to see papers for Mike's pup )
3) There are several litters with satisfied customers
I will gladly remove this blog.
Signed: Jodi Carlow Feb 23, 2012
Hmmmm. Heather = Sierra = Amanda?
Delete4 years later and almost $5000 down and STILL no pup - at what point would Amanda be considered "in breach of contract" herself??
Have you had bad experiences with her as well??? I'm currently in the middle of sending money and waiting on a puppy to be sent once they are old enough. Seeing that you wrote this a few weeks ago has me worried to send more.
DeleteHa sorry I replied to this post before continuing to scroll down!! But I obviously now see that YES you have had terrible experiences with her.
DeleteAll good to know - as I had once considered Mount Brier...Thanks for creating a balanced point of view and awareness around your incident(s).
ReplyDeleteWhile on the subject of rip-off puppy mills - I advise anyone looking for an
American Staffordshire Terrier to also stay away from Alan Blossom's website:
http://www.amstaffpuppies.com/
He inbreeds and his puppies have degenerative diseases including but not limited to hearing impairments, neurological and cardiovascular issues, chronic skin conditions, and behavioral issues.
We've spent nearly $20,000 and dealt with much heartache over the past 5 years - diagnosing and treating a combination of the before mentioned conditions.
Personally, it's a gamble buying a pet online especially when considering the overpopulation of bullie breeds available for adoption at local shelters.
Would like information about purchasing a puppy from Foxfire...Marsha Swanson....just found this blog when I googled Foxfire looking for info on the dogs. Now I am worried about purchasing...she told me her name was Marsha Swanson, not Brown but the kennel is the same. Foxfire Amstaffs of Colville Washington...Just want to know if it is safe to send payment for purchase & shipping to fly me a pup...too far in person and no breeders closer...any information would be appreciated. After stumbling across this blog I am worried about sending money and not getting the pup or getting a different pup...could anyone please let me know any information on Foxfire & Marsha
ReplyDeleteI'm from Montenegro (Europe). Unfortunately I did not seen this blog earlier. I had sent in Nov 2013 a down payment $ 600 for the male (show quality) puppy and additional $300 for blood test, chip etc. Puppy should be due late Dec 2013, but so far I did not received any info from Amanda about puppies. Most probably I will be defrauded as you and many others. I suppose to send $1,250 before delivery but I will not send any money to her again. My lost comparing to yours is less but I have a powerful friends in USA and will try to refund my deposit back.
DeleteStay away from Marcia too. Marcia is Amanda's mother and the apple didn't fall far from the tree, if you know what I mean. When Amanda thinks she is caught out, she makes some lame excuse and palms you off on her mother, Marcia of Foxfire Kennels, who then just spins a different yarn for you. You'll never see your money again and probably won't ever see a pup either!
DeleteAt this point I'm just adding to the list of people ripped off. My story is similar. Got my money then didn't ship on agreed date. Came back and said the puppy now has mange. She hasn't provided proof of mange and I question whether the puppy actually existed on the first place. Now she refuses to call me.
ReplyDeleteI literally am at the airport picking up my dog and these people sent me the wrong dog! This dog doesn't even look anything like the dog I purchased. This is just the beginning of my story. I did everything these people asked me to do sent them all the money they requested $600+ above my original quote and delt with their nonsense. Amanda R. Is now Amanda Noland of mbfamstaffs.com Do not deal with these people!!!!!! Check out my blog for more details mbfamstaffs.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteOmg are you serious!!?? Have you received a dog yet? I also was back and forth with her back in August/September time frame. Some BS got messed up and the dog I wanted which she said someone backed out of so all of a sudden was available all of a sudden became quickly unavailable once I sent over a deposit for it. So I patiently waited for another liter. She just contacted me week of Christmas saying they were born. And to send rest of money. I haven't sent the money yet but I entended to tomorrow!!
DeleteSome weird things have been going on and I have been fishy about it all... Which made me google her name. And BAM this pops up. Now I'm super worried and need feedback or something before I send anything out.
I recently got a puppy from her. I found this site after sending her a $400 deposit, so felt like seeing it through. We kept sending the contract back because it didn't look right and refused to give her money until we saw the dogs. We tried to go to where she lived, but she would never let that happen. Last weekend she said she could meet us as she was selling 3 other pups. I was still holding my breath as everything seemed amiss. But, she was there and she looked really messed up on drugs- sores all over her face and extremely ill looking- I'm talking about Amanda not the dog. The pups seemed ok, but really really dirty. Another couple was there buying a pup, who had been breeders and they said the dogs looked ok. I can't believe how bad the dog smelled. I took her to the vet though and everything was fine. I am actually very surprised. Extremely sketchy situation. She didn't have the AKC papers and I don't expect them. Our dog is going to be a pet, so it's not an issue for us. Buyer beware for sure! I think if we hadn't been firm with us, she would have ripped us off. To top it off, she also had a baby with her. It seems like she was once a reputable breeder and then drugs have taken over her life.
DeleteAh man are you serious!!! I'm currently in the middle of trying to get a pup from her. She has been giving me the run around and basically is forcing me to ship my dog I've paid for therefore having to send her $490 MORE dollars. May I ask what does your puppy look like?? I can send a pic of the one I supposedly picked out of the litter. See if they are the same? Who did she say were your puppies parents?
DeleteMy puppy is supposed to be ready in 2 weeks. I live in NC but was going to have a friend pick up my dog for me and fly it himself to me. BUT as you can guess something came up and has to go to Canada to take care of a sick family member and now she's basically making me fly him to me.
DeleteCan I pay you to pick up my puppy for me???? lol I trust you WAY more than Amanda and I haven't met either of you. 😂😂 lol
Hi, Kristina.
DeleteHate to say this, but if you pay her for the flight you will mosty probably never see your money, or the pup, again. I am still waiting for a "show quality" pup I paid for in FULL in 2011. Paid for the VET fees, transport to the airport, the FLIGHT to South Africa and the crate that would be used and haven't seen ANY of it! $4,700 in total. Towards the end of the dealings, I also became very suspicious that she may have developed a drug habit and was now scamming people to feed the habit! My problem is that NOBODY in the USA is prepared to help me fight this! I've contacted ALL the various agencies that I can possibly report the fraud to, but those that have even bothered to reply have basically told me that it is a "civil legal case" that I need to fight legally in the USA. This is obviously not an option for me, since I live in South Africa and the cost of legal representation, etc. would outweigh the money she owes me, and I guess this is exactly what she counts on!
If ANYONE there in the USA intends to, or is currently fighting this from a legal perspective, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE include me as a plaintiff to strengthen your case and hopefully, if ever a judgement is made, I can also eventually get my money back!
It is now December 2015 - FOUR years after I paid $4,700 for a pup from Amanda. I am still without a puppy and still without the refund I have asked for on multiple occassions. Everyone should also be made aware that Marcia Brown Swanson of Foxfire Kennels is Amanda's mother and is also in on the scam!
ReplyDeleteOh my god! I am so glad to have found this site. I recently sent her $400 and was about to send more this weekend. She gave me a different address than the original one....
ReplyDeleteOh and everyone take note, she is now trading under http://www.mbfamstaffs.com. Previous website was obviously getting too much heat!
ReplyDeleteHas anyone had success getting their money back??? I talked to the police and they suggested civil court. They have had multiple scam reports and a humane call.
ReplyDeleteWhat I don't understand is why the Spokane law won't intervene?!?! They keep saying it's a civil matter and not criminal. What do they not understand? This blog alone should be enough evidence that Amanda is a criminal?
ReplyDeleteAh man are you serious!!! I'm currently in the middle of trying to get a pup from her. DeleteHello Everyone. God I should have found this blog before. I sent $deposit to her not so long ago. What should I do!?
ReplyDeleteThank you.
Hello. Did you receive your deposit back ?
DeleteI placed 5 hundred dollars deposit for a blue pup BEFORE I saw the contract. I was foolish enough to sent her my money before I saw the actual paper. When she stoped replying me, I researched her a found this web site! I did not sent the contract, so asked for a money back. Of course no money back because she said so. And yes, the dog is not even pregnant yet... Anyway, I found another responsible breeder and I am getting my pup in June:)) save your money and time and just find another breeder!!!
ReplyDeleteI believe I may be the latest victim - I truly hope not..
ReplyDeletePaid $2,000 back in August - my alleged puppy is now 18 weeks old. I have decided to move on and find another puppy. I have asked for a refund minus the security deposit. No response from them of course. I am filing a complaint with the Attorney General’s office in WA Monday. If any of you would like reach out to me to discuss please do so.
ReplyDeleteHi Christian. I paid around $4,700 in 2011 for a pup, transport, vet fees, airfare, crate, etc. Have NEVER received a pup or refund. I've tried every avenue suggested - Washington State General Attorney, Spokane Sherriff, Federal Consumer Council, ICCC (FBI) and NONE of them can help because I am in South Africa and can't get representation in the USA to take her to court. Please let me know if you succeed, as this might set precedence that I could take advantage of. Thanks and good luck! Des.
ReplyDeleteNever received my pup - $2000 gone - this woman should be incarcerated..
ReplyDeleteI reported her to authorities and so far nothing...I purchased a Rottweiler puppy from an honest breeder. It was such a refreshing experience. Amanda - karma will come back to bite you in very severe fashion..get some help for your drug addiction.
ReplyDeleteChristian, I am going to attempt a fraud claim. Any chance you'd be interested in comparing notes offline??

DeleteLooks like I'm the latest victim.
ReplyDeletePlease let me know if you succeed in bringing this woman to justice. $5000 is a LOT of money for me and I would desperately like to get it back!
ReplyDeleteIf enough people on this blog could stand together, I'm sure a civil case or class action could be made against her.
Let's start by creating an open facebook group so we can all discuss .. Is everyone here on Facebook? I will create the facebook page and set up the SEO with keywords for her name and website so it comes up in Google searches.
DeleteEveryone who is interested please email me your facebok profile URL or email address here: xhotdogsaladx@gmail.com
DeleteHello, is this Amanda also known as Amanda Noland in Colville, WA? I have been in contact with Aesir Amstaffs and some of her emails of brought me to question her authenticity. I googled her name and this came up. She's asking for $400 deposit by money order which I have not sent.
ReplyDeleteSame woman. How did the transaction go?
DeleteI wouldn't hold my breathe! My $5,000 paid back in 2011 has never been returned and I've never been sent a pup. Because I don't live in the USA, I have absolutely no legal recourse. I've tried the FCA, FBI International Fraud unit, Washington Attorney General, American Kennel Club, etc. and nobody is prepared to help. Someone that can represent themselves in a US court needs to take her on.
ReplyDeleteHer mother, Marcia Brown Swanson, from Foxfire Kennels is/was also in on the fraud.
That's terrible, sorry to hear this. We never got our $500 deposit back either, and never got a pup. It looks like she's still doing business. https://aesiramstaffs.weebly.com/
DeleteShe stole $2,200 from me - over a year ago. It's disgusting that this mother/daughter team continues to scam consumers - sadly small crime appears to be a good business. I think the only way to shut them down is by hiring an attorney in order to obtain a cease and desist and hopefully obtain a default judgement as I am sure Amanda and her mother would not show up at court. If either one of them own a property - place a lien on the property. Other than that not sure what else can be done.
